Safety Meeting – Monday August 7 at 8 p.m.

In a response to local concerns over mail theft and home burglaries, this meeting will cover what one resource can do to help gather footage of the culprits. Neighbor, Michael Yanovich and Ring.com representative Carley Platt will be sponsoring this meeting. LAPD Senior Lead Officers have been invited. Beachwood Canyon is dry, overgrown and there are many visitors every day on our hiking trails and on all our streets. Most don’t know the rules of the road here – NO smoking in our hillside neighborhoods. We MUST be prepared. L.A. Beachwood Canyon – Gridlock Becomes a Safety Issue

Most who live here are well aware of the congested streets during spring break, in the summer and on most holidays. That seems to have shifted and often it’s crowded with cars and pedestrians during the week and on weekends no matter whether there is a holiday or not. Temporary Permit Parking zones are being created now. The signs will most likely go up in 3 months. This should create some measure of relief and greater parking enforcement is assured
